This Dam needs to come out.
From what I have heard and read the dam is rotten from the bottom up and the fish ladder is a poor design.
The power plant still has a generator, but has not been used in many, many years, like the late 1940's
There is a very small poor put in/take out.
All the shore line for the reservoir is private.
As a matter of fact all of the North Umpqua from Whistlers Bend to Amaker park runs through private property.
If you want to fish it, it's from a boat.
