Who caught fish today before the bad weather reaches us I went 4/15 all healthy fish @ a westside famous lake, my fishing friend did much better.

 

[Eastside]

Visiting our son in Oak Harbor for Thanksgiving weekend. We fished a lake on Whidbey Island and scratched out a couple of trout in the wind and cold. Did better in the afternoon retrieving our crab pots. Very windy this morning.

@Lue Taylor - I did catch three fish on Saturday but they were all dinks. I missed two good fish - the wind was blowing pretty hard and my fly line was bellying (that's my excuse).

Lake Lenore is now officially closed until March 1st, even if it was still open you'd need an ice auger and some precise casting to hit the hole - this image shows open water:


@Engee is motoring towards the north end of Rattlesnake Island.

Unless we get a good warm spell, most stillwaters will be iced over here in the Basin until who knows when.
