Hackle - Scarlet red tied on as a collar and tied back and down
Wing - Orange calf tail tied over the body

Got nowhere on an emerger pattern yesterday so I hit the reset button.

hook - WFC Model 6 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 fire orange
tail - pheasant tail
rib - small wire hot orange
body - Ice Dub pheasant tail
hackle - brown
shoulder - pheasant body
collar/head - deer hair

Someone mentioned sharpening scissors a while back. A couple draws across, a couple down the length, and they are plenty sharp again.

Gorgeous as always Norm.

I get anxious just thinking about wrapping that tinsel. And then what if a toothy cutt or bully grab it before a steelie? Shit, is this what people mean when they say they are "triggered"? :unsure: :LOL:

Posted 6 days ago. The Orange shrimp was originated in 1840, predating the use of chenille. The Orange Shrimp also had no tag and the long JC cheeks
was part of the recipe. The body calls for orange wool or floss. and a wing of White Bucktail. rib of fine gold tinsel.

1936 the Polar Shrimp introduced by Shoff Fishing Tackle from Kent WA. Which Norman has tied a vey fine example of above.
