My favorite bass fly. Swimming Frog. It pops, it swims, it dives, the back legs kick. Lasts forever. Catches bass.

Hook: TMC 8089 #2
Tail: 1 each olive, olive grizzly and yellow grizzly rooster hackle on each side
Collar 1: olive grizzly soft hackle
Collar 2: 4 olive silcone legs on each side
Collar 3: deer hair
Body/head: olive over Chartreuse over yellow deer
Eyes: 7 mm
front legs: olive silicone pulled through body
Weed guard: 20# Mason hard mono

The ribbed deer hair body doesn’t show up very well in the photos.

tail - yarn fluoro orange
rib - tying thread
body - deer hair dyed neon peach (2 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/8 Tsp Rit Coral/2 cups water)
wing - Congo Hair shiner tan
shoulder - mottled hen saddle
collar/head - deer hair dyed neon peach
