At first I thought "why would you put that weird nose on that?"
But in my head, it goes straight when you pull it without the nose, and wiggles back and forth with the nose.

Fished one with a shoulder of dyed pheasant rump the other day and it did better than a big orange foam thing, which was a bit surprising, since that’s been a standard for cutts.

Chartreuse & Olive Muddler

The caribou, being variegated in color, turned a neat mixture of chartreuse/olive when dyed; I seriously doubt the trout care one way or another, but I was happy.
