body hackle - grizzly dyed neon olive (2 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/8 Tsp Rit Neon Green/2 cups water)
1st shoulder - badger dyed neon olive
2nd shoulder - chukar dyed neon olive

wing - Congo Hair shiner tan
legs - medium rubber brown
thorax - Ice Dub hare’s ear brown
hackle - grizzly hen dyed golden brown (3/4 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/4 Tsp Rit Camel, 1/ Tsp Rit Sunshine Orange/2 cups water)
lip - 2mm foam brown

Hook - Dry Fly 2XL, size -6-8

Thread - Tan

Tail - Grizzly hackle fibers, tied short

Body - Yellow deer hair, spun and clipped. (Olive, cream or gray are also used. Match the natural in your area)

Wing - Dark deer hair, tied across the back, extended well beyond the bend of the hook. Crisscross the thread over the front half of the wing to secure it to the body

Hackle - Grizzly & ginger, mixed. (I used cree)

Wing - Natural deer hair (not stacked), tied in a single post style.
Under body - Golden/brown poly
Over body - Natural deer hair, tied across the back and extended beyond the bend of the hook for the tail.
Rib - Yellow thread or fine floss, 3/0
Hackle - Brown

managed to throw together a few bull trout flies for a buddy under the condition that he fish the more colorful one a fair bit...These are on TP605 2/0 (I think one might be on a 4/0 spinnerbait hook, but it has the same gape as the 2/0 TP605s, just a slightly longer shank....I think it's the colorful one).

Best served on the fastest sinking streamer line one has. I would have no qualms about fishing these for tigers either....even with the smaller 2/0.

Body - Peacock herl, red uni stretch, peacock herl

Wing - Elk hair
Great looking fly. I had good luck on a couple fish that slapped at orange and yellow flies today using a quite similar stimulator style fly. Mine isn't tied nearly so attractively.
