JLP, a great pioneering Jazz violinist. Here's something a little more recent, well, 2013 recent, with the great John McLaughlin. Not as familiar with Zakir Hussain (tabla), but really enjoyed what he was doing.

I collected a few lp’s over the decades of Jean Luc Ponty. Jazz of the purer form rather than the softer pretty music that most are somewhat aware of. Enigmatic Ocean was a first taste of his recordings that moved in that direction
