What are you listening to?

Ohhhhhh. Is that for me???? Hahaha… It’s my favorite Hendrix song (…next to Little Wing and All Along the Watchtower)

This too is amazing. Plus i do love a stand up bass. That guitar player is amazing! I looked up that other band and they do a lot of cool mashups, including Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People. I love that song so much, in spite of the content….

Thanks for sharing this video, Mike Dawes is amazing! I was tempted to link the Gotye version (original?) of the song. which I really like but don't care for the video.

"Killing Me Softly with His Song" is a song composed by Charles Fox with lyrics by Norman Gimbel. The lyrics were written in collaboration with Lori Lieberman after she was inspired by a Don McLean performance in late 1971. Denied writing credit by Fox and Gimbel, Lieberman released her version of the song in 1972. In 1973 it became a number-one hit in the United States, Australia and Canada for Roberta Flack.
This is an acapella cover by Citizen Queen: The human voice is an amazing instrument, and the harmonies are not too bad either.

This version is pretty sweet, too:

Thanks - I couldn't remember where I'd heard Mike Dawes from but that's the video and recording that brings it back. Pretty darn great entertainment! Tommy's quite the showman!
