Walked into a lake below 1,000 feet today. The trail started like this...
A bear had passed the same way not too long before...
Then we followed a faint ribboned trail...
To a small lake with tannin stained water.
Bright sunshine and blue skies make for good pictures but so-so fishing. Caught four cutthroat 8-12" fishing a Granger 8642 rod and a sinking line and a black wooly bugger. Water was pretty warm. It's time to head to the higher lakes with cooler water
