The rain eventually passed

Lousy tide plus high flow at my local river was enough reasons for me to trek way north to fish a lake this morning.
It was pouring hard for most of the time and finally ceased as I left, a little bit of sun even.

Lots of medium rainbow around, my last fish was a good one that ambushed my white minnow fly just like a brown would, right by a sunken branch near shore.

Was a little disappointed that it was a bow, but it was good size.

Boat launch is still closed BTW.

You musta gotten soaked.

I drove to Seatac this morning and some of the squalls were impressive.

Nice fish, and an attractive setup to fish with.

@ Kfish…I was editing just as you ‘liked’. I evidently missed the line where you wrote it rained the entire time.

The down pours driving through the Skagit valley were some of the heaviest I’ve seen lately….it musta been fun on the lake…..only missing some lightning ;)
