My EDC is an Opinel No. 7 with the carbon steel blade. Very light in my pocket and wicked sharp.

I'll bring a few knives to the swap meet.

Could check out a Hogue Deka if you want the Benchmade style lock. That SOG looks pretty chunky.

Great recommendation here. The Bugout is a nice little EDC folder, but the Deka, IMO is a much better buy.

Gave most of my old knives to my son or lost them. The Salvation Army Knife my dad bought me at Yeager's sporting goods in Bellingham around 1980 after he was probably tired of listening to me talk about it.
Love the benchmade knives and the folder has been in my pocket since 08. Sortsmans points for the fillet, haven't used it yet on fish. A Big Trouble in Little China in there and a nice Leach lake knife I use for birds I picked up at Reeds by Leach lake.
Have a mid life crises knife that should show up this month. Stay tuned.

USA made Schrade Old Timer Junior Stockman. A very small but useful knife that’s a pleasure to carry. I’ve had this knife for many years and was my edc but has since been retired. The blades have developed quite a patina over the years.

Not cool or special or anything of the sort. This is just the only folding knife I have left after a few disappeared. One I got from my time at ECHO from a coworker. No idea what a folding cleaver blade is good for. Still haven't figured it out. But I'm glad I got something new on the way.



Now @Creatch’r has me lusting after one of those Chris Reeve beauties.

Call me basic, but I've been lusting over a Benchmade Mini Bugout. I like the idea of local, and relatively small. I'd go orange so when i lose it camping, its easier to find.

I have one of those and it’s a great knife I carried it for years. Nice and small. The bench made lock is really nicely designed and there is tons of aftermarket scales that are really sweet if you ever want to change the look of your knife.
