We had to land a bit short that day, due to windy conditions at Elfin Cove.
Sadly, this summer it was not a fly fishing trip and more a meat harvesting trip where the only skill involved was reeling.
I've been in love with the de Havilland Beaver since my first fly fishing trip to AK in the 1990s: seven days floating the Talachulitna with a friend, fishing nonstop until we hit the Skwentna.
