I’m no longer using this vise, but I do appreciate the simplicity in design and adjustable height and table clamp that this vise is equipped with. Sweep debris right onto the floor! 😎

Jaws are in good condition and the clamp adjust to a variety of table top thicknesses.

Squeeze the vise handle and insert hook. You’re tying!

Great deal for a Regal vise. I have the regular head and love it for the little bit of tying I do.

and it’s fairly easy to make your own base if you’re not crazy about being clamped to one place on the desk top

I made a base out of a piece of 1/2” copper plate and found a brass collet stem to drill and solder to hold the stem. Sellf stick felt on bottom. Of course i bought the plate 25 or so years ago so not as painful as today… alaska copper and brass in Portland. I used to do a lot of braising
