Prop upgrade for electric trolling motor

Hey folks. Sorry if this has already been posted. I stumbled upon this info on the FlyBC site. You can replace your Minn Kota prop with an RC airplane prop. And this guy on a youtube video measured Amps and speed and shows it to be way more efficient and faster...in a pseudo scientific test. And they're cheap ...about $6 each. So I am definitely going to try this to extend my range and time on the BC lakes I frequent. Here's the video:

It's an interesting topic that has popped up a bit with lots of interest:

Prop Change for Minn Kotas (BIG difference)

Seems the 10x5 and 10x4 props this guys uses creates less power draw and increases top speed. What more could you want! I know what I’m upgrading later in the season when I get to lake fishing more.
