Hey all,

Not sure if this post should be in the gear fishing dirt-bags channel or here.

I need a break so I was thinking about getting out for a couple-hour short trip to hit the tide change for blackmouth. We would drive past some consistent rezzie water, so potentially if there are signs of fish there, I would rather fly fish for them. Otherwise, my dirtbag side will come out to try to get some dinner.

Anyone interested? Launching from Tacoma, hitting the noon slack.

Open to either Friday or Saturday but only one.

Report:

No salmonids period. Super slow fishing. Bailed for some cutts and caught 1 nice one. Wind from the North East made some nasty Puget sound chop but tuck away from that and it was beautiful day.

Thanks Ryan! That was a fun day despite the blustery conditions and lack of cooperation from the salmon. I've never gear fished much, and it's been years, so it was an interesting adventure.
