Islander
Life of the Party
I’m going to steal Bob’s title idea as I am doing a similar trip. We came back to the island to visit with family and I was able to sneak off for a couple of days on two of my old waters. Tuesday was beautiful with just a few clouds and mild wind. Hit Lone Lake for a few hours in the afternoon. Lots of fish but they were all very small, in the 8-10” range but kept me very busy. Should have brought the 3wt.
On Wednesday went up to Pass. It was partly cloudy with a bit more wind but still a nice day to fish as there was no rain! Not the big numbers like Lone, but had six quality fish to the net and one LDR. Got in about four hours of fishing and still back home in time for dinner with the family. At one of my favorite spots, I had someone keeping watch in case a fish got loose!
