Might not be a bad plan to connect with them. I don't know anything about Idaho fishing, but I do know that fishing club guys have helped me out in the past.
That club looks to be quite active and IMO a membership would be money well spent.
They fight about it because some people are too stubborn to admit the truth.. sll true steelhead taste salt water...
This is actually really good advice. Flyfishers canbe a pretty tight lipped group sometimes. But show that your the kind of person who cares about the resource and is willing to help out, well that kind of thing opens a lot of doors. Suddenly there's some solid advice shared or maybe an open seat in a boat the next time someone goes out.
