Just Hatched
Hey all,

Got sent here from someone on reddit on the fly fishing subreddit.

I just started fly fishing about 2-3 weeks ago and was wondering if anyone lived in the Boise area and would like to go fishing.

To be honest i don't know ether. I moved here last year from Arizona and I've only really fished for catfish my entire life ( from NJ).
(y) no worries, I was just joking about the reddit fly fishing group. I think all they do is fight about what to call steelhead.

Ill check them out
That club looks to be quite active and IMO a membership would be money well spent.
I see that they have a river clean up coming up on the 22nd. Volunteering for things like that will give you an opportunity to meet others.

They fight about it because some people are too stubborn to admit the truth.. sll true steelhead taste salt water... :D

Voracious, welcome to the group, good luck and enjoy your new hobby...

This is actually really good advice. Flyfishers canbe a pretty tight lipped group sometimes. But show that your the kind of person who cares about the resource and is willing to help out, well that kind of thing opens a lot of doors. Suddenly there's some solid advice shared or maybe an open seat in a boat the next time someone goes out.
