Life of the Party
The son of a good friend is going off to Norway on some kind of outward bound school thing for a year. He’ll learn hunting, camping, tracking, fishing, relearn Norwegian and all sorts of good stuff. He’s a great lad and really level headed but wants to work in the fishing fleet after working on the Northwestern so maybe not 
As his graduation gift I bought him a Wheatley fly box engraved with his name and class of 2023. I filled it with 3 of each re buggers, muddlers, leeches, sedges, nymphs, dries and soft hackles so hopefully it’ll enthuse him and of course help him catch a load of fish.
