First day of summer

Today was my first day of summer as school let out yesterday. I grabbed another teacher buddy and we headed for a little blue line. We fished from 11-6 catching about 3 dozen native coastal cutts between us. Average fish was only 7-8" but they were taking dries readily and we caught trout up to 12" plus a bonus whitey that came in at 14". Not too shabby for a westside stream. What an enjoyable day.

Old Man

Just a useless Old Man.

When I lived and fished in Washington, I always had a favorite stream or creek I could hit. Some rivers might be boiling, but a small creek is usually just right.
