Hey thanks for that info. I hit the fly shop before hand for the traditional "what's hatching" chat. Was told to nymph, and if that doesn't work, tie on another nymph. Nymphing was productive of course, but once I saw that bug land on my bag and a few more flying around I changed it up.

You never know unless you try!
I recognize the bug as being similar to an ID request that @Taxon helped me with a while back. I had seen some on the SF Snoqualmie in February also, I think. They’re an awfully handsome adult sedge to my eye.
