It seems like a good idea, Just wonder if there would be dilution if there were too many sub-forums. I always wondered why a lakes sub and no rivers, is it just assumed by default all fly fishing is done in rivers? And salt? I like the current mix, but yes, I would use a tightline sub as I enjoy dabbling in the art.

Alright I did make a general trout forum, but we're probably going to pump the brakes a bit on adding much more. I feel most will view here using the "new posts" vs browsing each individual forum, but categorizing things does make it easier for users to ignore certain categories.

I use a long rod & tight line for wet fly and dry fishing too but too many categories could have too much overlap and be confusing

Like on the old forum. I got to where I only went to a few forums. A lot of what is said and done I never did. I'll probably do the same on here. Just not into poetry.
