Deschutes Guide Recommendation

I'm planning a trip for a handful (6-8) of disabled veterans from Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing to fish the Deschutes late May/early June 2023. I'd like to hire guides for a day or partial day. Any recommendations?

Is Madras or Maupin any better than the other?

Be prepared... That's the premier period of the entire fishing calendar, due to the salmon fly hatch (thus the best time to be fishing there!!)
You'll find much less pressure downstream from Maupin.

I always liked the folks at the Deschutes Angler. Really great folks who live on the river and know it very well (e.g. not the 'guides' who swoop in seasonally--a really good thing IMO). I dunno how accessible their setups are (same goes with any other outfitter). I'd also look into Elke Littleleaf who guides the tribal side and in addition to being an outstanding guide who flat out gets clients into fish (and large ones at that), is just a top notch human.
