Huh. I always thought crawdads were white or pale for a while after they molted, and sometimes tie light colored dads on the theory that fish like the softshell tender morsels. But this one took on its original (amazing blue) color almost immediately.

I was messing around a few nights ago and tied this up with a blue/orang/black body. Bunny claws and a, rubber tentacles and a 3 feather schlappen feather body. Unfortunately, after I tied it I found my rust colored bunny which what I wanted to use for the claws.
