Coho Fishing SW Washington

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving here is some footage from SW Washington. Earlier in the week we got some good rain which led to ideal fishing conditions lower in the systems. We aren't supposed to get any rain for the next few days which will make fishing challenging throughout the weekend. There are a ton of coho around as well as a few chum still lingering. While the water was off-color black and blue were the clear winning colors. As the water dropped fishing got more challenging but it did allow us to get some cool footage of the fish doing what they do! During these low clear water conditions I cannot stress the importance of moving slow and ensuring your first cast into the hole is perfect. When the water was dropping we also dropped down our size of fly to a size 6, you will encounter some cutthroat fishing this way as well which is always fun! After the holiday weekend and we are caught up from Black Friday - Cyber Monday we will get back after it and hopefully encounter some early steelhead. Around this time of year is when we start to see some hatchery fish milling around! Good luck out there!
