Found 2 chunky wild bows (one is probably a cutbow).
First one is about 14 inches and sipped my dry off the surface. Went airborne and gave my 4 wt a serious workout. Quickly landed, quick pic, and released as the water at the surface was 70 degrees in the shallows and wanted to get it back to the cooler water ASAP.
Next up is an even chunkier one around 15 inches. This took a standard BH woolley bugger. Don't think it surfaced once. Was just a bulldog. Held the bottom and didn't want to budge. Netted, quick pic, and back you go, buddy!
Managed a few more 11-12 inches and and a handful of 6-10 inchers.
