Blowing hard so we fished worms under slip floats before heading off to tball. 1/8 oz. Beau Mac and sliding egg sinker, swivel, 12" 4# UG to a number 8 baitholder. 1/2 a crawler each. Set 2-6' deep. Fishing leaches under the indicator has helped with my reflexes, and by being attentive we released 10 lip hooked fish. The oreo's in the plastic box were a hit.

So my grandson came home from school, and begged his mom to call grandpa to go fish again since dads at work. Bobbers were good but grandma with a slip sinker bottom rig and mallow/worm combo did better than anyone, and, well, grandpa really didn't fish. I played bait boy and fish unhooker.

There were as many folks fly fishing as trolling on the lake, been kind of trend this year, and lots of families besides ours on shore.

Tom, I thought this was going to be a steelhead thread using floats and plastic worms. Done that and have done well. Quite fun under using a Centerpin.

Back to topic, looks like you had a good time.
