Backpack Style Fish Cooler?

I’m wanting to rig up a fish cooler on my back for summer to hold a fish horizontal. Most of the cooler backpacks I see I’d be forced to bend the fish in and run it vertical where it would not be on ice.

So I’m thinking of getting something like this and modifying it to attach to a backpack.



I have the 20x36 and really like it, this is the 24x15, which should be perfect for a summer head or coho.

Ideas?

all is fine and good until you bend over and the the fishy ice water in the cooler runs down your back

Fair, it does seem like the lack of a reinforced bottom hurts the bags longevity. I have that brand already and did beef up the bottom with some 5200.

I priced out the material to make my own and it’s about $40, but I can’t weld pvc so might just pull the trigger on the 24x15.
