since when does 124.47 really mean 124 degrees and 47 minutes? If you go on any mapped site it is either decimal or minutes with .47 meaning 47/100 of 60 minutes, or 28.2 minutes.

Just shorthand for posting online and radio chatter. Just quicker and easier and we know what it means.

Gool ol halbicore trip. Or is it buttcore? Either way, I wish Garibaldi was a better port for Halibut. Would love to combine those trips.

We went SW Sat for tuna. And blanked. No jumpers or puddlers to chase.
Went straight west Sunday and joined the fleet. We had lots of salted IQF chovie and that was a good thing. We only caught dead bait and jig fish. Had one strike on a small natural cedar plug but it didn't stick.
Ended with 10 fish and too late to try for halibut. Run and gun is the catch phrase. Had a fun weekend.
