Took a drive up to a mountain lake with a friend to let him try out my fishing kayaks. Had a good time despite being rained on half the time. When it wasn't raining, it was amazing. Fishing was slow, but we managed a few each.
Fish were rising occasionally, but very random timing and no rhyme or reason as to where. Tried dries and only a few hits. Tried indicator fishing for a bit and managed to hook a good sized largescale sucker. Found a massive school of them often causing the surface to look like a riffle in a river. Most fish were hooked slow trolling large streamers. 10-12 inchers. Hooked a few that felt BIG, but came unbuttoned.
