I have a perfect condition Airflo Kelly Galloup Shovelhead 8/9 330 gr for sale. It's been used ~4 times, but for how I fish my 8wt, it's just not right.
Right now, it's spooled on a perfect working condition SA System 2 78L and that comes with it. This reel, while a bit smaller compared to modern 8wt reels, can stop a mac truck.

By not right do you mean it's too heavy for your 8 weight? Or does the line just not work for your casting/fishing style? I am looking to get one for my 8wt but can't choose between the 7/8 or 8/9.

Oh it casts beautifully on my 8wt. It’s that I fish my 8wt almost primarily in a relatively smaller stream where I need a more compact head. If I fished with more room, I’d keep it in a heart beat
