I just bought a Airflo GT intermediate 12wt line picked it up on the cheap. Being a GT target line it is ment for warmer water. Has any of you tried this line in the sound?

12wt seems a bit big even for lingcod in the Sound.

I have tried other Airflo tropical lines (I may be wrong but I think they all use the same plastic) in the sound when I’ve forgotten to/gotten too lazy to switch out bonefish lines. Lots of memory, but not unfishable.

I’m using it on a switch rod for overhead casting, at 410 grains it will be used on a 7 wt or 8 wt switch rod. What got me was the 50lb core. It may be a good line for a bait stop for albacore.

If they come up to play, I imagine it would.
