Josh's 2023 sunfish thread sent me on a little trip down memory lane.

When I lived in NC I had a small river/creek that was 10 minutes from my front door. Jam packed with sunfish and the occasional bass, catfish or other exotics. You could fish it year round but the spring and early summer were some of my most cherished fishing days. I think @Old Man would have appreciated. It formed many aspects my fishing ethos. Proof you didn't have to be on some far flung trout stream to reach fly fishing nirvana.

That wagon wheel hub is super cool too, great fish pics.
