I have a fairly accurate quick way to measure trout in the net…my Shaka is exactly 8” in length…when I can get three shakas on a trout and there is still more trout, I’m a happy man…

Many years ago ,I was doing that , and a friend said that’s a good way to break that rod . I still catch myself wanting to do it .
