Headed out to one of my absolute favorite lakes...
The first several fish were smaller planters which is not the norm for this late. It must have been stocked recently. I tied on a big craw jig and finally started picking up nicer fish:
It's hard to stay focused:
Slow deep retrieve worked best for me:
My wife arrived and brought me lunch from DK's:
We have had this anniversary date the last two years. I'm a lucky fellow:
The day was 10/10:
The fishing was pretty challenging all in all:
Still it's hard to beat this lake in the fall
and lunch was very good!
