I just leave them alone. Never thought of dispatching them. The ones I have seen are right where they are supposed to be. I certainly don't go tromping through the sage.
I got schooled by a woman from Spokane for not having Pfd while fishing Coffee Pot. Of course, I deserved it. Got a CO2 vest when I got home. Never hit a lake again without it. My thanks to the lady from Spokane.
Very nice! Make sure that you can remove a panel or the bottom to clean out the birdhouse every year. It keeps the inside clean and relatively bug free. Plus, nest building is part of the pair bonding.
