Jim, really appreciate you. And I'm ever envious of where you live! At closest I esud to be an hour and 4 mins from the roadside pullout - I had it down 😃
A bit tougher these days from Cleveland, but on occasion I'm fortunate enough to indulge. I always enjoy the window in from those who are...
Pat you're in very good hands with Rod and Rex. What I love is there's more than one way to do this stuff and find success. Still hope to cross your path in Oroville! (Zak, catch you again soon!)

Thank you for the suggestions as well. You'll...
Thanks for the kind words :)
Myself, I tend to use the sinker more for streamers, partly since I prefer faster retrieves. Since I use the smaller nymphs near the surface I have good luck running those off a floater, mostly at a slow troll when midges are popping and taking flight.

Appreciate that, Brian. Good catch, should be 2X leader and 3X tippet. You can tell I went cross-eyed from all the proofreading, will see if our esteemed mods can make an edit (y)

The rest of us – let’s start there. You fly fish, but recently picked it up, we’ll say you are somewhere in year one. Or maybe you’re somewhat of a veteran fly fisher, but the allure of lakes never really...
