eh, a couple of casts later she was good as new....You’re gonna need some hair conditioner. Cowboy Magic. They use it for horses

I have given your comments considerable thought and somewhat agree with your second sentence. The very few folks who ask me what I am using are bait guys. Usually tell them Bugger, shrimp, or midge imitation. The rare fly fisherman I come in contact with almost never asks about the flies I am using and I don't ask about theirs. I don't necessarily think this is deliberate concealment but just a feeling of avoiding overstepping decorum. Isn't it more rewarding to observe, duplicate, and dial in on your own than to have someone tell you, "tie on a size 20 Adams"!I don't like this forum topic. Most guys would rather tell you where to fish than what what they are using successfully. But for those who have, much appreciated.
I don't like to hot spot fishing locations unless they're obvious to even the most casual observer; Rocky Ford Creek comes to mind. On the other hand, I've been pretty grateful to other anglers who did share what ane how they were fishing when they were catching and I wasn't. The reverse being true - I enjoy sharing the "key" if I have it figured out (on those rare occasions when I do).I have given your comments considerable thought and somewhat agree with your second sentence. As for revealing (hot-spotting) "where to" I can't help but think about the overpopulation issues that face this country and this state. It's not a matter of being unfriendly but more a matter of preserving a vanishing resource!
I have learned to stay clear of Chopaka and other over rated (IMHO) fisheries were there is probably more of this inquisitive behavior going on.
As for this particular forum, I would think, "What's in your Vise" would take care of everyone's needs.
Those are some seriously well fed fish. Sweet. You guys are putting my black woolly bugger with silver ribbing to shame. But it was good enough to get me a few of these.

Dandy looking fly, and pretty fish.
