Intermediate I think, not a big fan of the Galloup streamer max that I have because it just doesn’t shoot as nicely as OBS. I might need to get an OBS floater line.

What's the recommended size on that. As in, could it scale up for, oh, say, Pacific Albacore ???

Tail/Shuck - Dirty Bug Yarn, Caddis Brown or substitute
Body - Peacock herl
Wing - White, cream, tan or light dun hi-viz or substitute
Hackle - Coachman brown (may be trimmed flush at the bottom)
Thorax - Brown ice dub or peacock herl
Decided to stop my avoidance of spinning deer hair with a Larry Dahlberg Flash Dancer. Sculpin pattern(s) next.
And they worked VERY well!!!
Play date plans changed so I tied up some sz, 8 knuckle dragging stones, brown HE and flex rib abdomen, olivish thorax with grouse. Gold bead for that yellow face.
Probably overkill but added a thin skin wingcase.

rib - small wire golden olive
abdomen - pheasant tail dyed grey (3/4 Tsp Rit Pearl Grey, 1/8 Tsp Rit Charcoal Grey/2 cups water)
throat - yarn hot orange
thorax - Ice Dub peacock
bead - 3mm copper
