Cornbread. Do you make it from scratch or use a boxed mix? I like fresh cornbread with either clam chowder or chili. The mixes these days are so good it doesn't even occur to me to try and make it from scratch.

Scratch, always. I find the mixes to be corn cake. People around here like their cornbread sweet and cakey. I do not. I like it a little crunchy and crumbly and slightly salty.
