That quiche looks great, a nice change up on the thread.

Looking at making a Caramelized Onion, Mushroom, and Gruyere Tart/Galette type thing this weekend. Tons of onions to use up from the garden. Mustard and thyme in the thing too.
Trying to work some meat in there, but duck is all I can think of...so duck confit it is.

I have a fantastic quiche, classic recipe! It's the crust that really makes the difference and my mother taught me how to make it. She still does it better than me!

If you're in a hurry make a frittata.. no crust, and you can add it leftover vegetables and whatever you have on hand. Sharp cheddar, Swiss, provolone, monterrey jack or whatever cheese you like and have or leave the cheese out to make it healthier.
