Fairly sure that @Starman77 was talking about the Smokey Point lakes in that comment. Not about Pass, which is (as you correctly note) fly only.

Right... I did stop by Pass Lake, but since it was iced over I didn't fish it; I went to another lake in the Smokey Point area and fished there for a few hours as it was mostly ice-free.

Anyone been to Pass recently? Assuming most of the ice is gone now with the rising temps and rain.
