Stolen Gear Alert

Update: My rods and reels(?) have been located, and I hope to be in possession of them soon. See my post at the end of this thread.

If anyone sees a too-good-to-be-true deal on the following gear, it might have been mine right up until dinner time tonight. After that, it became the property of some fucking tweaker asshat in Port Angeles who broke my back side window.

Burkie 7127-4 classic blue with titanium hardware serial unknown

Burkie 8134-4 classic green with titanium (?) hardware serial unknown

2 Hardy 7/9 wide Perfects with only slight rock and boat rash.

Jake there are 3 pawn shops in Port Angeles with one more in Sequim.

You could call them and alert them of a heads up but I’m not sure if they would stop the sale. Or just ask as a “customer” if they have any fly rods then go through the process/spring the surprise once you see it.

I hate this, sorry that happened to you.

Yeah, that’s my sense too. I’ll call them tomorrow.

Geez Jake...sorry to hear about this.
Thanks.

On the bright side, maybe it’s an inspiration to make a bamboo spey rod.
