Biden bans logging roads in much of America’s largest national forest (WAPO)

Meh...
I ain't lettin' no 'facts' get in the way of a good conspiracy theory...or any 'science' either for that matter.
#sad
:ROFLMAO:

One of the more interesting things about "that other flyfishing forum" is how some folks wouldn't let facts get in the way of an opinionated discussion.
I hope that doesn't happen here.
To that end, here is the link to the federal register notice of the decision -
https://www.federalregister.gov/doc...vation-national-forest-system-lands-in-alaska
Lotta good facts in there.
I wish results like that came up on the first page or two of my google search. Thank you.

Correct, it's a conspiracy of those on the so-called "Left" to deny everyone their freedom, take away their everyones guns, and indoctrinate them with CRT. Nobodies motives are what they at first appear, you must dig deeper to find the conspiracy and only a select few have a full understanding of how this conspiracy that involves thousands of individuals actually works - I think some guy named Q gets it.

Question, if it's purely political for Biden to reverse a decision back to an original decision made under President Obama, what was the rationale for the original decision?

Cheers
You already answered your own question…Obama. 😉

This thread is leaning towards ugly. Focus on the issues, facts and less towards mud slinging politics please.
Roger that. apologies for my part in it.

Matt B…I really doubt you are that clueless.
You strike me as an intelligent person. 😉
FinLuver...I honestly have no clue how this is “purely political” as you wrote. It has a real effect on the ground, and a long history discussed in the federal register. So again, please, do share your well evidenced counterpoint. Can you do that?

Anyone who has visited and fished this vast area in SE Alaska will appreciate the importance of protecting it vigorously. The beauty and true wilderness experience is hard to describe. Go up there and see it!

The number of salmon spawning in the coastal rivers and small streams is incredible for those of us who live in 21st century lower 48 states. Black bears are so common in many areas you hardly notice them after a few days. It is magical.
