Canyon time

I also spent the weekend down in the canyon. It was pleasantly cold at night (frozen gear in the morning!).

It was an outing that the local fly club put on, but a couple super nice guys from the old Westfly site were also there to and got to hang with them. It was nice to see ya Rob and meet you Andy! That breakfast brownie….

Fished all day Saturday and for a few hours in the morning before I drove back and met my wife and kid at Sugar Pine in Troutdale for some ice cream.

Caught my fair share of fish. It was a pretty epic egg hatch ;)

I love being down there as it gets cold.

Nice report. I haven’t been there in far too long. I remember some October mornings where it was a little hard to motivate to get out of the sack in the cold cold dark. That was steelhead though. Suckers bite great at lunchtime. :LOL:

You know I just realized that this site has westfly in the name. Pacific North WestFly Fishing.
