Rain

I have to do dock and bulk head work friday til 5pm.


Then.....let the skies open up and wash mother earth.

My wife says, " why does it matter, your gonna be wading around in the lake anyways".

Its not fun working in the rain.


I am looking forward to the smell of rain.
 
Got rained on a bit this morning in the Hood Canal area. I didn't even realize it was cloudy, what with the smoke layer, so at first I was trying to see what was coming off on the lake. Raindrop hatch - yay!!

Just softening up the ground so the garbage trucks can destroy your little mini retaining wall/curb liner thingy again. (y)
 
A balmy 49 degrees here at Mossback Manor, with a steady but light rain falling.
Was outside working all day, wore shorts and at this juncture I am of the considered opinion that Fall is upon us at this point, and the nice toasty fire I built when I got home is now a daily event.

Finally done with harvest, and got the garden cleaned up before the first drop. Bring it on, I'll find somewhere to fish.

I am just pleased it is a constant and consistent rain that will eventually be absorbed into the rock hard and parched ground rather than a gully washer that just runs off...
