My neighbor saw Kid last year at Sturgis. He said it was pure trash and fun as fuck. I'd go. And have fun.

I agree, there was a time and a place, and at that time……Agree that Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, etc are horrible music in the same way junk food is bad food, but I miss living in a world where up-tempo, guitar-based rock that kicked some ass and made you want to run into the garage and crank out a set of deadlifts, charge a line of moguls faster, etc.
The death of this style of music seems to roughly correlate with the dot-com bust and the emergence of a youth culture that...seems like it could use a bit more optimism, exuberance, and energy.
I still love some music from that era, most of all the deftones. Not sure why I find them acceptable but hear Korn and want to die inside.
As a bass guy myself I can appreciate Fieldy’s unique approach. It’s also often described as the sonic equivalent of a load of silverware being dropped on a concrete staircase. It's the exact opposite for me....and I will see Korn live every chance I get. But that has more to do with the unique bass playing than anything else.
Haha, actually I think right now is giving the 80s a run for its money. Also a decade ago produced Mumford and Sons the worst band to ever caress the face of this earth.I might be in the minority here but I think the 80's is by far and away the shittiest decade of music that was ever made in almost every genre.
We're doing this, I have to unload a truck, the bizkit on the PA system. Thanks to PNWFF limp bizkit is now trending on Spotify searches.Ok guys taking the time machine back right now as I begin my journey by playing one album from Bizkit, Korn and Mr Rock. This is for science.

Do they still sell Frost n' Glow? I'm having an urge to frost my tips...Just finished Korn Follow the Leader. I might flip flop harder then the CDC here that was better then I remember and it appears the science is evolving. There was some songs it took a lot of willpower to not press skip because they were definitely awful, but there were also some certified bangers in there. I am experiencing some symptoms, I have a strong urge to drink a Mountain Dew and go roller blade to the mall.
Kid Rock next.
All of this just depends on what style of music one is drawn to.I might be in the minority here but I think the 80's is by far and away the shittiest decade of music that was ever made in almost every genre.
I think you could add the 90s to that decade. It wasn't all bad, just the preponderance of it.I might be in the minority here but I think the 80's is by far and away the shittiest decade of music that was ever made in almost every genre.
I remember my dad listening to some dreadful shit when I was in my sweet spot...People often tend to prefer music that was popular (and associated with youthful good times relatively free of life's many adult obligations) up to their early 30's...at which time everything following is dreadful shit.
