Let's talk life's simple pleasures

If I was you I would wear long pants, Those white legs would scare all the chicks away. Or stay out in the sun to get a little color on them.

I haven't seen you in a while. Going on 16 years. You look like you put a little weight on. Eating good? You still fish those Beaver ponds you drug me to once ?
16? So that must make you, what, about 104 years old now? Time flies!!

Nope, since I've been over 8n Snohomish/Monroe area, I don't make it over that way much anymore. I drove up the middle fork road just to look at a few of my old favorite spots a few months back. Road is entirely paved and I found myself missing the miles and miles of potholes 😞

Do you still have that map I gave you. It really wasn't marked with every place I ever fished. It just served as a guide to where I could go when ever I fished. Hell, I can still remember all the places I fished when I lived in Washington.

It wasn't to long ago I weighted in at 275. I'm now about 180, went from 46 waisted jeans to 38 waisted jeans. I feel better since I lost all that weight. Not stronger, just better.
I went from 265 to about 215 in the last couple years…how drink lots of water- 32 to 64 ounces a day and quit drinking and only eat when i feel hunger. Minimal salt and sugar and walk a lot. However my back has gone to hell… always-40 years of chiro off and on and too much ibuprofen lately. Feel better? Hell i guess i just don’t wanna push that blood sugar up to the line of meds. Waist 44-46 to 36

I do most of this, except I can't hardly walk anymore. I kind of stagger when I walk. Has to do with old age and my sense of balance. Which really sucks. I do use a cane to get around. When I broke the small bone in my right leg I used a walker. But I didn't like to use it.

Last week, it was sitting at the lodge and enjoying a bourbon after a full days fishing. One of the guests who, lives in AK flew in with his own plane and brought a chunk of glacial ice…very dense and cold. We poured the bourbon over that…gave it a nice Smokey flavor (I’m guessing from the mastodon shit?)…
