So if some people don't follow the rules you close it because they will follow that rule? So no need to monitor it because nobody will fish if it's closed.

Wdfw should show the people the prosecuted for violating the rules. You know, the ones observed as per the report. I presume they were ticketed by the enforcement officer doing the observing. Because WDFW certainly wouldn't close a river based on rumor or hearsay, much less make it up out of thin air!

News to me. I know a guy who was ticketed for fishing closed waters ~2024. A couple wardens patrolling 2 seem like they are looking for any excuse. Cotton ball catching a pinched barb kind of stuff.

I remember hearing that years ago. The prosecutors didn't have time to deal with the cases.
