SFR 101 Bridge over Hoh River will close for repairs

Sounds like what Potland did. Closed the most congested part of I-5 going both ways right by the Moda Center for 5 weeks. I am going to stay off the Freeways for a while.

That section in Portland is a mess. The times I have travelled it, I ask myself…”WTH were you thinkin’ son?!?!?” 😳😡
 
I think the 101 bridge the only one over the Hoh. I have been up and down that river a lot and I can't think of any other bridge. If it's closed there is only one way to get to the other side, and that's around the big loop.

We are out there end of October for salmon. I hope it's open then.
 
It's been down to one lane for a while due to work. Glad to see they are getting it fixed. It's kind of a scary bridge.

The really bad spots are just north of there at Dowans creek where the road is high above the Bogachiel. That's also down to one lane with an automated light due to washouts. Looks like they've sprayed concrete on the worst bits but seems like it wouldn't take much for the rest of the road to end up in the Bogey.
