If memory serves, you chose to move where you are (I remember your search just a couple of years ago). Also, if memory servers, the windmills were already there. If this is indeed the case, you picked your poison. Please correct me if I'm wrong.No... have your poison picked for you.

You should just do it anyway! After all, permits, like taxes, are for suckers and stupid people....I'm thinking of putting a boutique nuclear reactor out behind the garden, but permits are hard to get.
Funny all those windmills and you still want my AC set at 80 degrees.

I was always anti-nuke, but because I am so concerned about the effects of man-made climate change, I have changed my position. I'd like to see us build these new modular nuclear reactors and install more wind and solar--anything to get us off fossil fuels.
AI has been performing facial recognition, tracking movement patterns, etc, for several decades, and the Lacey data center project I managed in 2005 employs SS7 billing tag protocols to route cell phone calls through AI algorithms screening for 'trigger words'.![]()
US government ramps up mass surveillance with help of AI tech, data brokers – and your apps and devices
To augment information about you that it collects directly, the US Government is buying less-regulated information harvested by cameras, cellphones and apps and sold on the commercial data market.theconversation.com
How close are we to a surveillance state? Are AI/Data Centers reaching a point where we will have no recourse?
Heat on Earth is dissipated through air and water (convection and conduction). In a vacuum, there are no particles to carry heat away from server racks. A vacuum flask (Thermos) keeps coffee hot precisely because a vacuum is an exceptional thermal insulator. The idea that the vacuum of space offers "free, effortless cooling" is one of the most common misconceptions in physics.Apparently in a few years data centers are going to be built in space. So this whole conversation is pointless. Solar powered and cooled by the vacume of space
